The Active Essex Foundation are pleased to be recruiting a Project Lead for our exciting new Sport and Youth Mental Health programme. If you are passionate about using sport and physical activity to support young people’s mental health and have experience of working in or alongside the health system then this could be the perfect job for you.
The Essex Youth Sport and Mental Health project is a new 3-year project that has been funded through the National Lottery Community Fund Reaching Communities programme, the Sport England Local Delivery Pilot, NE Essex Health ICS, and the ActivAte HAF programme. The use of sport to reduce levels of poor mental health is a top priority for the Active Essex Foundation.
Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone who has experience of working strategically with many stakeholder agencies. The postholder will have experience of managing a large project with many different targets, outputs, and delivery mechanisms as well as experience in leading a team.
