One of the largest Active Partnerships in the country which provides leadership to the Essex physical activity and sport eco-system through the promotion and delivery of the 10 year strategy ‘Fit for the Future (2021-31)’.

Supporting our estates based project in Loughton, breaking down generational barriers and encouraging the local community to support activities for young people.

Supporting a youth engagement project in Canvey, providing a range of positive sports and physical activities and sports leadership qualifications for the hardest to reach young people.

Essex is one of 12 pilots chosen by Sport England to test innovative approaches that could unlock something ground-breaking for the whole country and find solutions that increases physical activity levels in our most deprived communities that are genuinely replicable and sustainable. This is a bold new approach for Sport England, investing over £100 million in a once in a generation national pilot to tackle population levels of physical inactivity. The pilots will run initially until 2025.

A grant giving community organisation, supporting our Achievement Through Football project, using Sport and Physical activity as a tool to reduce Anti-Social Behaviour in Southend-on-Sea.

Sport England build the foundations of a community sport system by working with national governing bodies of sport, and other funded partners, to grow the number of people being active. Sport England play a vital role through the Tackling Inequalities fund.
