Rob Hayne
Rob has amassed 20 years’ experience working in the Sport, Leisure and Physical Activity sector.
Sport, and being active, have played a large part in Rob’s life, whilst growing up in rural Somerset, playing a number of sports at county level and volunteering with local clubs, before attending Staffordshire University and gaining a BA(hons) in Sport and Recreation studies.
Rob has amassed 20 years’ experience working in the Sport, Leisure and Physical Activity sector. This ranges from roles in Health and Fitness operation, National Governing Bodies, Education, Nation Charities, Leisure Consultant, Local Government and County Sport Partnerships – providing a wide range of experience and skills that can be used to support the operations of the charity, grow partnerships and bring in grant funding.
Now his sporting endeavours are confined mostly to the golf course, cycling and surfing, Rob’s volunteer time is also spent as Vice Chair of Essex County Cricket Board and an advisor to mental health charity, Fitness in Mind UK.
